Adrian Sawyer

Adrian Sawyer focuses his practice on complex business and employment litigation. He has represented clients around the country in business disputes, employee mobility and trade secret matters, defense of wage and hour class and FLSA actions at the California and national levels, and shareholder, and corporate governance disputes. Adrian has substantial experience defending clients in securities and derivative litigation and SEC enforcement matters. His clients range from emerging companies to multinational corporations.

  • Adrian also devotes a portion of his practice to contentious trust litigation, bringing business litigation experience to bear in that setting.

    Adrian is a contributing editor to the trade secrets and unfair competition chapter of the Rutter Group California Practice Guide on Employment Litigation. He is also a frequent speaker on trade secrets litigation and unfair competition.

    He served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable William H. Orrick, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
